Griffiths House and Katherine House are part of the Cote Charity whose Trustee is the Society of Merchant Venturers.

The Cote Charity has always prioritised our residents' quality of life, and where possible Katherine House cares for residents until the end. However, in some cases the dedicated care required for residents who develop dementia has meant that residents have had to face the difficult challenge of moving to another facility elsewhere in Bristol. This is often a distressing time for the individual and for their families and so the Cote Charity took the decision to develop a purpose built, dedicated dementia care home on the same site as Katherine House.

As we developed the plans for Griffiths House we focussed on the objective to create a home-from-home environment that could provide comfort and calm, alongside expert, professional care.

Griffiths House offers a relaxing, safe and secure home for older people living with dementia. We offer a place to individuals who would benefit from this particular setting, where the quality of life for each of our residents is paramount.
